I got this machine to replace my larger power hungry desktop and put windows 7 and Ubuntu netbook remix and both work great. I have been very impressed with this little machine. I hook it up to a monitor and keyboard at home and use it as a desktop as well.

I purchased this netbook for my husband to use when he's out of the office. The portability made it worth the money. It functions as his desktop on the go. The only thing that would make it perfect is if it had a CD drive already included. Considering buying one for my daughter.

Great little powerhouse. I upgraded to 2GB memory before I booted up the first time and it blazes. I installed MS Office Pro 2007 and its a workhorse. Wireless connection was a snap. The touch pad has some cool shortcuts that's easy to learn. I bought an external opticle drive and made recovery discs without a problem. The smaller keyboard took a little getting used to but works just fine with a nice tactile feel. The screen is bright and beautiful.

This netbook was not as pictured by Acer. The battery is large and heavy and fits on the hinge of the netbook, sticking out much further than the measurements given. I was not happy with it and returned it immediately.

Bought this for travel. It gets the job done. I initially loaded a lot of programs on it. It seriously slowed down the system. It was taking like a few minutes just to open up a browser. So, I uninstall the everything to only keep the basic programs.
It is perfect if you only need to use the internet and send/receive emails.
